形態特徵

• Scandent shrubs, nearly glabrous.
• Leaves distichous, oblong-ovate or lanceolate-ovate, 6–15 cm long, 2–7 cm broad, thinly coriaceous, apex obtuse to acute, base obtuse to acute, entire, lateral veins 6–8 pairs, slightly elevated on both sides; petioles about 0.7 cm long.
• Racemes pubescent, many-flowered. Flowers white; calyx tube truncate, pubescent; petals free or slightly connate, about 1 cm long, sometimes cleft at apex; stamens 3; staminodia 6, bifid, nearly as long as petals; ovary superior, style simple, glabrous, about 7 mm long, stigma 3-lobed.
• Fruit ovoid, about 1 cm long, 0.7 cm across, enclosed by the enlarged calyx tube except at apex.

分布

• 台灣 : on rocks or in open areas of Lanyu Island.
• 世界 : India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Java, the Philippines and China (Hainan).
